In 2015, walking alone on Cromwell and 169th in The Bronx, I discovered a man who appeared to be flying birds on the rooftop of a body shop. Being young and curious I decided to walk into the body shop and ask if I can check out was was happening on the roof. After having a long conversation with Vinny Outerbridge, a native of Spanish Harlem New York, I began researching the world of breeding and training pigeons. Based on this research and interest I decided to shoot a documentary with a few friends. The documentary allows the viewer to understand this largely unknown and looked down upon world of raising pigeons. Vinny who has been flying pigeons ever since he was about eight explains that the passion is more than a hobby, it is his life. Viewers learn about the lifestyle, proper care, different breeds, and the several international breeding competitions that Vinny has won.
